There a lot of things that need to be considered before a trip goes ahead. The Dive Leader qualification includes information on how to plan a trip, and so Dive Leaders are allowed to organise trips on their own. This doesn’t mean those of you that aren’t a Dive Leader can’t do it (and in fact organising/helping to organise a trip is actually a part of the qualification itself!) but you must have someone of DL or above supervise you or check through what you’ve done.
