If you’ve already got the taste for diving and want to take it further, USSAC is here to help. BSAC welcomes divers from any other agency and uses the crossover chart to identify which grade you can have just for joining!
A lot of people join the club having done a qualification on holiday or something similar. If you’re the same then progressing is easy! All you need to do is come down to the pool for a few sessions so we can check you’re fresh enough to dive, and from there you can cross-over to the BSAC syllabus (see the table below).
For example, if you have a PADI Open Water qualification you can be starting Sports Diver training within a few sessions!
Ocean Diver = PADI Open Water / Advanced OW / AOWD Plus
CMAS One Start Diver
Sports Diver = PADI Rescue Diver
CMAS Two Start Diver
Army Compressed Air Diver
Dive Leader = PADI Divemaster
